


Aaron Larmore founded Fit2Live and is currently its Director of Performance. A highly sought-after fitness trainer and athletic development coach, his skills range from working with fitness enthusiasts to expertly training numerous professional and top level athletes from around the area.
His professional experiences include working with some of the nation’s top strength and conditioning coaches, including the Iowa football and Olympic programs, as well as former Husker Power strength coaches at Xplosive Edge in Omaha, Nebraska.
Aaron’s approach to fitness is heavily influenced through time spent with Pavel Tsautsoline in the Russian Kettlebell Challenges and Brian Grasso with the International Youth Conditioning Association.
Hobbies include; hanging out with family and friends, playing the guitar, working out, reading, and water activities.

Matt Staats joined Fit2Live in May of 2008 and is currently Director of CrossFit. Matt’s knowledge, combined with his ability to develop fun, creative, and challenging workouts, makes him a very rare commodity. His trademark: a class full of exhausted, smiling bodies. Members describe his classes with the quote, “he keeps you wanting to come back for more.”
Prior to Fit2Live, Matt interned with Aaron Larmore at Competitive Edge Conditioning. During this time he gained knowledge and experience training athletes and the general public from all different ages and skill levels. Matt currently directs the highly popular Beach Body Bootcamp as well as personal trains and instructs CrossFit classes.
Matt is a University of Iowa Alum, where he received his B.A. in Health and Sport Studies with an emphasis in Health Promotion. Matt is a certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, as well as being an accredited Youth Fitness Specialist.
